Reel Warriors Foundation Fishing Tournament & BBQ Returns to Tejon Ranch on August 1
Veterans, supporters, and outdoor enthusiasts have an opportunity to enjoy a day on the water while making a direct impact on the lives of fellow veterans.
The Reel Warriors Foundation, in partnership with Tejon Ranch, will host its Fishing Tournament & BBQ on Saturday, August 1. The event combines friendly competition, live entertainment, great food, and a fundraising raffle that supports veterans through outdoor recreation and peer connection.
Every raffle ticket purchased and every live auction bid helps the Reel Warriors Foundation continue its mission of providing veterans with opportunities to heal, reconnect, and build lasting friendships through outdoor adventures.
A Day Built Around Veterans and Community
The day begins early with check-in at 0500 hours, followed by the official fishing tournament at 0600.
Participants will fish at Reservoir 2 until 1100 before gathering at Old HQ Tejon Park for a complimentary BBQ lunch. Drinks will be available for purchase, and attendees will enjoy live country music from Devyn Brinsfield throughout the afternoon.
The event also features local vendors, a live auction, and one of the most impressive raffle prize lineups of the year.

This year’s raffle includes more than fishing gear. Several major outdoor experiences and premium prizes have been donated by generous supporters.

• Three-day guided turkey hunt at Tejon Ranch, valued at $2,000
• Half-day guided pig hunt at Tejon Ranch, valued at $1,300

• Two-day Constitution Sportfishing trip departing from San Diego with the Reel Warriors Foundation, valued at $930

The Reel Warriors Foundation uses outdoor recreation to help veterans reconnect with one another after military service.
Fishing trips, hunting excursions, and other outdoor events create opportunities for veterans to build friendships, strengthen support networks, and spend time with others who understand the challenges of military life.
Every dollar raised through the raffle and live auction stays focused on expanding those opportunities for veterans.
